The Truth About the Holy Spirit $10

This four-message series looks at the attributes and qualities of the Holy Spirit as well as what the Holy Spirit does today. Dr. Smiley discusses many questions Christ-followers pose in discussing the Holy Spirit.

Session 1 - An introduction to the study and discussion about the attributes and qualities of the Holy Spirit. Specific attention is given to scripture evidence of the Personhood of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is properly referred to as HE vs. IT.

Session 2 - A discussion about what the Holy Spirit does today. Specific attention is given to His convicting work and indwelling of the believer.

Session 3 - Dr. Smiley discusses three specific questions on the minds of Christ-followers:

• Who do I pray to?  The Father, Son, or Holy Spriit?
• What is the difference between the indwelling of the Spirit and the infilling of the Spirit?
• What is the difference between a spiritual gift and a talent?

Session 4 - Dr. Smiley addresses other questions that Christ-followers pose in discussing the Holy Spirit. For instance:

• A discussion on the supposed contradiction that Acts 8:14 raises.
• A discussion pertaining to tongues in the apostolic church and 21st Century church.
• Questions about blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and the Fruit of the Spirit.
